Andymusic is a trio made up of guitar player Manlio Maresca, electric bass player Giulio Scarpato and drummer Enrico Morello. All the three of them revolve around the Italian and international jazz circuit, often venturing them into different (and far from traditional) music settings.

This act responds to a specific need: taking all that historically traditional sound material from the last century and instilling it into a modern, mostly electric era, with man-machine roles basically inverted. Placing sounds on a rhythmically slippery flooring, inside default harmonic structures with a totally altered echo of remote reminiscences, the three musicians shuffle their sounds with every mental and physical instruments at their disposal. They let the mysterious root of a mistake – a shifty imperfection – insinuate, thus originating a perverse curiosity towards alternative solutions, giving all players a chance to explore unknown soundscapes. Automation is turned into a desired and searched-for human vagueness, since the human beings naturally tend to inaccuracy and are subjected to the passage of time – a fundamental element in music.
